Burger Bowls are a low-carb meal featuring seasoned ground beef served over lettuce with classic burger toppings and sauce.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
4 cups chopped lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ cup sliced red onion
½ cup sliced pickles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 avocado, sliced
¼ cup burger sauce
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned.

  • Season beef with salt and pepper.

  • Divide chopped lettuce into serving bowls.

  • Add cooked beef on top of the lettuce.

  • Add tomatoes, onions, pickles, cheese, and avocado.

  • Drizzle burger sauce over the bowls and serve.

Notes

Adding roasted potatoes or sweet potato fries can create a heartier version of the bowl.
