These Apple Brownies are a warm, chewy fall dessert packed with cinnamon spice and juicy apples. Easy to make in one bowl and perfect for the season.
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
2 cups peeled, chopped apples (about 2 medium apples)
½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
Stir in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until just combined.
Fold in chopped apples and optional nuts.
Spread batter evenly in pan and bake for 35–40 minutes.
Cool before slicing into squares.
Add a drizzle of glaze or a scoop of ice cream. Store at room temp for 2 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
