These Apple Brownies are a warm, chewy fall dessert packed with cinnamon spice and juicy apples. Easy to make in one bowl and perfect for the season.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 cups peeled, chopped apples (about 2 medium apples)

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan.

  • In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.

  • Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

  • Stir in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until just combined.

  • Fold in chopped apples and optional nuts.

  • Spread batter evenly in pan and bake for 35–40 minutes.

  • Cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

Add a drizzle of glaze or a scoop of ice cream. Store at room temp for 2 days or refrigerate for longer freshness.
