Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (optional)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chunks (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.

  • Melt butter and whisk in cocoa powder.

  • Add sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until glossy.

  • Fold in flour and salt, then add chocolate chips.
