200g dark chocolate (50–70% cocoa), chopped
120g unsalted butter
3 large eggs
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup (60g) all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)
½ tsp salt
(Optional) ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line an 8×8 inch pan.
Melt chocolate and butter until smooth. Set aside.
Beat eggs and sugar until light and foamy. Stir in vanilla.
Combine chocolate mixture with egg mixture.
Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Do not overmix.
Pour into pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
Let cool before slicing.
