These chewy, buttery Apple Brownies are a fall favorite packed with fresh apples, cinnamon, and warm spice. Quick to make and perfect for potlucks or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1½ cups peeled, diced apples

  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line an 8×8-inch pan.

  • Whisk melted butter with both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla.

  • Stir in flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.

  • Fold in diced apples and optional add-ins.

  • Spread batter into pan.

  • Bake 30–35 minutes or until golden and set.

  • Cool 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use tart apples for contrast

  • Don’t overmix the batter
