Soft, warm, and filled with gooey cinnamon-sugar layers, these fluffy cinnamon rolls with creamy glaze are the perfect comfort treat for breakfast or brunch. Ready in about an hour and topped with a rich vanilla glaze.

Ingredients

1 cup warm whole milk (110°F)
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
1 large egg
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:
1/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Glaze:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes.

  • Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix in flour gradually.

  • Knead dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Let rise 20–30 minutes.

  • Roll dough into 10×15 inch rectangle. Spread butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar.

  • Roll tightly, slice into 12 rolls. Place in greased pan.

  • Let rise 20–25 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Bake 20–22 minutes until golden.

  • Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.

Use room-temp ingredients for best results.
