Sugar Cookie Crust:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cheesecake Filling:
24 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare 9-inch springform pan.

  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.

  • Combine dry and wet ingredients and press into pan.

  • Bake crust 12 to 15 minutes.

  • Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

  • Add eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and salt.

  • Pour filling over crust and bake 45 to 55 minutes.

  • Cool gradually and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes
